OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2011. Shipments of cargo through the ports in Russia’s Krasnodar southern region shrank by 1.3% year-over-year, to 153,772 million tons. The cargo throughput decline was primarily due to the Russian grain exports ban imposed by the Russian Government’s order, which came into force from August 15, 2010, the regional Department of Transport and Communication said.

Temporary ban on exports of wheat, barley, rye and corn is effective until June 30, 2011.
