OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2011. Eurasian Bank (Almaty, hereinafter - the Bank), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has by an official letter informed KASE of the following, reported the press-centre of KASE:

... at a regular general meeting of the Bank's shareholders (minutes #3 dated March 10, 2011) the following decision were taken:

1. to increase the number of staff of the Bank's Board of Directors to 8 persons.

2. to appoint the following new members of the Bank's Board of Directors:

 - Michael Eggleton, Chairman of the Board  - as a representative of the Bank's shareholders;

 - Alma Nurgozhaeva - as an independent director;

 - Nikolai Radostovets - as an independent director.

Also we announce the exit of Orifdzhan Shadiev, Independent Director, from the Banks' Board of Directors, following his request to do so.
