OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2011. Girts Berzins, Head of Swedbank Retail Banking in Latvia, was officially appointed a Board Member at Swedbank Latvia, reported the press-centre of Swedbank.

Girts Berzins has in total 12 years of experience at Swedbank Group (Hansabanka): he has been the head of the Card Settlements Department, the Branch Network, the Product Development and IT Division in Latvia and the IT and Administration Division at Swedbank Russia. From 2008 to March this year Girts Berzins worked at Lattelecom Group.

 “Currently, a new customer service concept is being implemented at the bank, and I am very glad to join the team at this stage of development,” Girts Berzins commented.

The Board of Swedbank Latvia is composed of Maris Mancinskis, Chairperson, and board members Ansis Grasmanis, Daniils Rulovs, Irina Pigozne and Girts Berzins.
