OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. Tata Toyo Radiators (Tata Toyo), a joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems (Tata AutoComp); TRAD, Japan, and Mitsubishi Metals, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) centre in Pune. The MoU was signed between Tata AutoComp and TRAD, Japan. The state-of-the-art R&D centre is aimed to develop better solutions for the Indian automotive market.

Speaking on the occasion, RS Thakur, MD and CEO, Tata AutoComp, said, “Tata Toyo has always been the front-runner in offering cutting-edge heat exchange technologies to its customers. This R&D centre will further enhance the capabilities of Tata Toyo and help it serve its customers better. The aim is to ensure that technology that comes out of this R&D centre is that which is developed in India, for the customers in India.”
