OREANDA-NEWS. June 07, 2011. The Complete Sets of Key Technologies and Engineering Application for Large-sized Pickling Mill Unit, which was completed by CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI), passed through the authentication by the certifying commission organized by Chongqing Municipal Committee of Science and Technology.

The commission members learned the research report, the novelty retrieval report and the application report made by the project team. After inquiry and discussion, the commission entered into a consensus on the authentication of the research achievement, and placed a high premium on the overall technologies to be rated at the worldwide advanced level.

Under the abovementioned research project, the existing technical process and the technologies on equipment, hydraulic drive and automation had been absorbed and innovated. As a result, China’s first large-sized pickling mill unit with proprietary intellectual property rights was independently designed and developed by CISDI. This achievement has been successfully put into application in Tangshan Fengnan Cold-rolling Galvanization Co., Ltd., and has been further utilized in the 1450mm 5-stand cold rolling mill of Zhejiang Xiehe Shouxin Steel Industry Co., Ltd.
