OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2011. Ukraine and Serbia have begun consultations about creation of the FTA. This was started by the vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko during business-forum "Ukraine-Serbia" which took place on June, 24th in Serbia.

"Creation of the FTA is directed, first of all, on an increase of volumes of mutual commerce and investments", - Sergiy Tigipko noted. According to the vice Prime Minister, to escalating of cooperation between two countries will be assisted with the forthcoming entry of Serbia into WTO and privatization of the state enterprises in this country in which the Ukrainian businessmen can take part.

Sergiy Tigipko also noted that the key factor of progress of economy of two states is acceptance of the legislation which would be directed on improvement of an investment climate. In particular, vice Prime Minister noted, that now the Government of Ukraine works above bills on reduction of the size of a unified social payment which will allow lowering a tax load on salaries. Also in the near future it is supposed adoption of legislation which is directed on support of IT-industry.

According to the official, now about two hundred thousand Ukrainian citizen works in the field of programming and the volume of export of program production reaches one billion dollars. "Adoption of legislation which is directed on support of branch and decrease of a tax load on IT-company, will help to increase export of the software from Ukraine up to 4-5 billion dollars a year", - Sergiy Tigipko noted.
