OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC, the Partner of Sochi Olympic and Paraolympic Games, signed a cooperation agreement with the Paraolympic Committee of Russia and became the sponsor of the Federation of Physical Culture and Sports among Disabled People with Locomotor Apparatus Disabilities. 

As a part of cooperation, the parties will implement a number of projects aimed at promotion of the Paraolympic Movement in Russia and facilitate preparation the National team for Sochi 2014 XI Winter Paraolympic Games. 

Alexander Grigoryev, General Manager of Ingosstrakh OJSIC, said: "We could not keep out of the efforts taken the Paraolympic Committee of Russia and the Federation of Physical Culture and Sports among Disabled People with Locomotor Apparatus Disabilities. We admire courage, fortitude and outstanding results of our paraolympic sportspeople and want to contribute into their future wins.

We hope that our joint efforts will facilitate development of paraolympic sports in Russia, involve new groups of disabled people, primarily children, teenagers and youth in paraolympic activities, specifically in educational institutions, and provide for full-fledged preparation of Olympic reserve for Russia’s National teams participating in  Sochi 2014 XI Winter Paraolympic Games.

The history of Ingosstrakh OJSIC is closely connected with the support of sports. In 1980 the company was a general insurer of XXII Summer Olympic Games in Moscow. After more than 30 years Ingosstrakh OJSIC became the partner of Sochi 2014 XI Winter Paraolympic Games and the Partner of Russian Olympic and Paraolympic Committees (until 2016 inclusively) and the Partner of Olympic and Paraolympic National teams (for Olympic Games 2012, 2014 and 2016 for each team) in the insurance category.
