OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2011. The first consignment of export grain of a new crop in volume 52 thousand tons has been already sent from the Odesa port to Saudi Arabia. Grain was shipped on a vessel of type "panamax" ANNA (a flag Malta) by the company-operator of Grain harbour of port of LLC "Brooklyn-Kyiv".

Handling of the ship took 2.5 day. Intensity of loading of barley was more than 18 thousand tons a day. All ship party of a cargo was saved up in silos of grain elevator of "Ukrelevatorprom".

Now nearby 100 thousand tons of grain of various cultures are saved up in silos of grain elevator and till now reception of new deliveries proceeds. In total elevator is going to ship nearby 200 thousand tons of grain crops for export in August.
Let's remind, the vessel of type "panamax" ANNA became the first in current to year that has come into the Odessa port for grain of a new crop. ANNA has moored to berth of Grain harbour.
