OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2011. From the year beginning, the Mykolaiv Port processed 5 million tons of cargo (as of August 11, 2011) - is 15 % increase from year-ago period.

In the seven months of this year, cargo handling of the Mykolaiv Port amounted to 4 million 821 thousand 400 tons of cargo. During July processed by Port 713 thousand tons of export, import and transit cargoes.

In January - July, the Port have been processed 520 ships and 57 thousand 115 wagons.

The basic cargos, which processing the Mykolaiv Port, are ferrous metal, ore, coal, grain, chemicals, fertilizers (bulk) and petroleum.
