Since this year, Baosteel Co.,Ltd. has transmitted mature transport technique and technical standards to Stainless Steel Business Unit, Special Steel Business Unit, Pipeline Steel Business Unit, Meishan Steel and Luo Jing area and implemented transport system diagnosis and  improvement measures, which have achieved significant results, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

In the first half of this year, Special Steel Business Unit mass shipment at Baosteel Wharf rose 139%, Meishan Steel's mutual material supply quality loss rate reduces 4.47% compared with the average level last year. Special Steel Business Unit solidified band model hot delivery  achieves 2.9728 million yuan of overall economic efficiency. Pipeline Steel Business Unit successfully completes hot equipment and delivery varieties expansion business. Luo Jing area transportation cost  per ton steel reduces 53 yuan compared with last year's fourth quarter.

In recent years, steel product homogeneity competition is increasing and market competition is getting more fierce. Logistics system improvement, logistics quality assurance and cost reduction have gradually become a new profit source for enterprises. Meishan Steel strengthens the tracking on whole process of production, handling, transport and proposes ways to optimize loading and use special slings, enhances the control of mutual material supply quality control and the management of  mutual material supply packaging reinforcement and further reduces quality loss rate and logistics costs, Special Steel Business Unit solidifies band model heat delivery, which reduces the production energy consumption and logistics costs.

Pipeline Steel Business Unit adds insulation covers to four 400-ton die casting BV30 ingot cars and reduces energy loss during product transportation and energy consumption. Luojing area completes transportation business coverage. By the implementation of mining coal wharf project management, it optimizes heavy plate logistics overall storage and hot metal transport organization and reduces the area hot metal transport costs.
