OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Ukraine is ready to export grain to Japan in large quantities. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting with representatives of Japanese business federation "Keidanren".

"We are ready to export grain and not only grain in large quantities" - said the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile Mykola Azarov stressed on Ukraine's interest in attracting Japanese investment into the development of the agricultural sector.

Mykola Azarov also noted positive growth of turnover between the countries, but he drew attention to the need to achieve balance of imports and exports: "It is necessary to make all possible to balance our mutual relations in this direction".

Diversification of Japanese imports of agricultural products is perspective in his opinion.
