OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Programs of promoting energy efficiency and energy conservation technology will soon be implemented in all economic sectors. The head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation of Ukraine Mykola Pashkevich said this during a press conference on the presentation of the pilot Ukrainian-Dutch project "Young and energy efficient" in Zhytomyr.

According to Mykola Pashkevych, the first signs is the project in the educational sphere "Young and energy efficient". Next project should be in the agricultural sector. Also, the Agency is working on developing programs to energy saving at home.

The head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation informed journalists that the promotion of energy efficiency and energy conservation technologies for the first time since independence includes appropriate funding from the state budget. Thus, under the state target economic program on energy efficiency and development of energy production from renewable and alternative fuels for 2010-2015 provided 3.9 million UAH for these purposes.
