OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2011. CB "BNP Paribas Vostok" LLC (hereinafter – the Bank), part of BNP Paribas Group thank you for having trusted the Bank, presents respect to you and informs you on the following, reported the press-centre of BNP Paribas.

BNP Paribas, active in Russia in the businesses of Corporate and Investment banking, Consumer Finance and Investment solutions, has taken the decision to re-orient its Retail Banking activities in Russia, now focusing in this domain on the business of Consumer Finance on the point-of-sale, in the frame of an upcoming joint-venture with Sberbank.

It means that the existing branch network will no longer be seeking any new business. Accordingly, the Bank proposes to its existing clients to visit the branches to discuss and get support for alternative retail banking arrangements and the transfer of their assets in other banks.

Starting from 21.09.2011:

- new saving accounts, new packages, new plastic cards and new loans will no longer be available (due to exclusion of these products of the Bank's product line);

- tacit prolongation, upon contractual maturity, of deposits and safe boxes will be cancelled.

Starting from 01.12.2011 all issued plastic cards will be blocked.

For your convenience, we are offering a transition period from 21.09.2011 to 30.11.2011 we will propose:

- free transfer of your RUB assets to another bank;

- reduced fees on transfer of your USD or EUR assets to another bank;

- reduced tariff on cash withdrawal in the Bank's cash offices.

Please note that, in the same time, from 21.09.2011 fee on new account opening and on new funds crediting to the account will be increased.

Starting after the transition period, from 01.12.2011 new Tariffs will be introduced in the Bank. In particular:

- we will introduce a monthly commission for current and card account maintenance of 500 RUB;

- tariffs on transfers to other banks will be charged 3% of the transferred amount (with a minimum of 1000 RUB);

- tariffs on cash withdrawal through Bank's cash offices will be raised.

We strongly recommend you to come by 30.11.2011 to your Branch Office to discuss and decide on your alternative banking arrangements, thus implementing to close all your banking products and withdraw/transfer the balance of the funds on your accounts. This will enable you to avoid additional expenses and a time consuming follow-up from your side.

All detailed information on changes in the Tariffs Book has been already placed at stands in the Branch Offices and on the Bank's web-site according to the process described in your banking agreement.
