Spain Invests to Chemical Industry in Central Asia
OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2011. The new production, which was established in a short time at the chemical giant, Maxam-Chirchiq company, will produce low density ammonium nitrate. This is the first production in Central Asia, to be used in the mining industry for technical purposes. Equipment valued at more than million provides for the production of 60,000 tons of granulated concentrate per year.
As experts the of enterprise note, 55 thousand tons, about 92% of the total output, will be exported to nearly 20 countries. Those include Australia, Chile, Peru, Mongolia and Russia. Exports will bring the company an up to million profit annually.
Quality management system ISO 9001 is implemented to increase the export capacity of the new plant, which is a part of Maxam-Chirchiq. As for the domestic market, the remaining 8% of the total output fully cover the needs of the country's industrial facilities. All the necessary components for production of low density ammonium nitrate are produced here that, according to experts of the company will positively affect the cost and competitiveness of goods. Utilization of equipment installed in the facilities by Spanish investors will also increase.
Graduates of vocational colleges specially trained on European equipment work on new production lines. During the construction of new workshops environmental aspect were focused. Modern technology provides the excellent work of all systems with a high degree of safety. Special dust collecting equipment excludes any emissions into the atmosphere. Total project cost is million of investment that will be used for upgrading, modernization and construction of new facilities for production of mineral fertilizers. Work is to complete in 2012.
