OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2011. Integration of Allianz SE OEs in Russia, ROSNO, Allianz Russia and Progress Garant, is being implemented as planned, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The most critical phases of the Integration Project have already been implemented, namely legal approval, a single IT-platform selected, a single product line developed, the new company strategy elaborated and the new organizational structure approved (new Blocks formed and Board Members appointed).

Top managers of the merging companies will play an important role in the new company. The new company will be headed by Hakan Danielsson, President of ROSNO. Oleg Pyatakov, Chairman of the Board of Progress-Garant, as a Vice-President will continue his career in AZ CEEMA with responsibility to develop CIS markets. Werner Lellinger, President and CEO of Allianz Russia, will remain in charge of Industrial Underwriting he has been successfully managing before.

The new structure will represent all key areas of business: sales, underwriting, claim handling and operations. The Board will comprise 10 blocks headed by experienced managers: finance and controlling (Christian Mueller, Allianz Group), agent and corporate sales (Stefan Markschies, Allianz Pojistovna), sales via intermediaries and market management (Artashes Sivkov, ROSNO), motor insurance and private clients (Alexander Gurdus, ROSNO), health insurance (Dmitry Popov, First Deputy CEO, ROSNO), industrial risks, corporate clients (Werner Lellinger, Allianz Russia), claim handling (Mikhail Afremov, Progress Garant), operations (Stefan Schmid, Rosno), legal (Veronika Varshavskaya, ROSNO), life insurance and pension provision (Maxim Chernin, Allianz ROSNO Life).

Hakan Danielsson said, "I have made a decision in favour of a flat transparent management structure. The principle of bringing together the strengths and best practices of all the three companies is also reflected in the new appointments. The Board of the new company will comprise the best managers from ROSNO, Progress Garant and Allianz Russia, each of them having strong expert knowledge in their field, as well as Allianz representatives. Recently we have hired an experienced HR director, Irina Filatova, and I am convinced that a competent HR policy will enable us to efficiently implement our new strategy and become the company of first choice for insurance services consumers, which will guarantee financial stability and superior service to its clients".

Please be reminded that the launch of the new company is scheduled for 2012. It is planned to complete the process of integration by April 1, 2012.
