OREANDA-NEWS. December 12, 2011. Initially, the investment insurance product was marketed by Allianz ROSNO Life in late 2009. After the launch of the new business, the company established an infrastructure for interval sales via own agent network and regular sales via the country’s largest banks, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

This enabled the company to collect 1.5 bn roubles from the insurance business line new for Russia. The average amount under the rouble policies issued by the network’s financial consultants equals 287 thousand roubles with the minimum contribution of 100 thousand roubles; under the policies opened via the bank sales channel — 1 million roubles. The market has seen large transactions where lumpsum contributions exceeded ten million roubles.

Market potential
The results of the research conducted by the company’s analysts demonstrate that the potential of the investment insurance market is huge — provided that economic conditions are favorable, in the next 5 years, the quantity of private investors in Russia will grow ninefold, reaching 7 to 8 mln. people.

Product information
Presently, Allianz ROSNO Life offers clients two variants of underlying assets — RTS index (Russian stock market index) and gold, along with currency selection mobility. In addition, the product includes all advantages of classical accumulative life insurance products — insurance protection, legal protection, and optimal tax regime.

The major component of the product is its investment strategy which enables, on the one hand, to offer clients a significant market share and grow the same during the market growth periods, and, on the other hand, to ensure 100% return on investment, even if the market shows negative dynamics (capital protection is guaranteed by insurance contract). The product’s investment model makes it possible to gain, in the medium or long-term perspective, additional return potentially comparable to, or even exceeding, the yield on the product’s underlying asset.

In the nearest future, the line of investment products will be complemented with several underlying assets and a number of options providing clients with more flexibility in managing their assets, at the same time preserving capital protection. All options will be available not only to new, but also to existing clients who acquired their policies before implementation of these innovations.
