OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2012. President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 37 "On the Development of the Petrikov Potash Deposit" on 17 January.

In order to ramp up the production of potash salts in 2012-2021 there are plans to implement an investment project to develop the Petrikov potash deposit and construct an ore dressing complex with the capacity of at least 1.5 million tonnes of potassium chloride per year.

This investment project will be implemented in compliance with the investment agreement signed between the Republic of Belarus and Belaruskali within a three-month period following the signing of the Decree.
