OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2012. According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 31 October 2008 # PP-991 "On organization of a contest on attraction of deposits from the population among the commercial banks" the competition was conducted among the commercial banks of Uzbekistan based on the results of their performance in 2011. 30 commercial banks, 822 bank branches and more than 4000 mini-banks and special cash points participated in this competition, reported the press-centre of Trustbank.

The awarding ceremony took place in the office of Association of Banks of Uzbekistan on February 4, 2012. Organizational committee and Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Fayzulla Mullajanov participated in the event.

According to the results of the contest the winners were identified and prizes were awarded in eight main and eleven additional nominations. Operational Branch of POJSEB "Trustbank" was awarded third place in the nomination "The Best Branch of the Year on the Attraction of the Deposits of the Population in Cities".
