New Version of Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet Service Released
OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2012. Doctor Web is pleased to announce the release of the new 6.1 version of the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service. Among the updates to the service, it’s notable that support for Windows servers has been added to each subscription package for legal entities, while anti-virus network management has become even more convenient.
In this new version, Dr.Web AV-Desk specialists implemented support for Windows servers within each subscription package for legal entities. In addition, at the Dr.Web Agent application level, all subscription packages now include support for Android and Mac OS X operating systems. Furthermore, service administrators can now flexibly configure the server list of addresses from which workstations can be managed.
Version 6.1 also includes a feature that allows users to centrally customize white lists for the SpIDer Gate component, as well as to remotely install the Dr.Web Agent application with specified IDs on workstations with given IP addresses.
Improvements also touched upon security administration tools and the ease of anti-virus network management. Thus, in Dr.Web AV-Desk version 6.1, users can retrieve a list of workstations that had never connected to the server or had not connected to it within a specified timeframe. Working with the hierarchical list of stations in the network section of the Anti-virus has never been easier.
Providers should consult Doctor Web specialists in order to upgrade their Internet service. For the providers' customers, the client side of the Dr.Web AV-Desk will be updated automatically.
