OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. The Russian "Moskomprivatbank" that is a part of PrivatBank Group, one of the largest banking groups in the CIS, expanded the scope of funds transferring from Yandex.Money to VISA payment cards. Now transferring of funds to bank cards is available not only in Russia, but also in some other countries - Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

"The easiness of withdrawing funds from the system usually is one of the most challenging issues that virtual money operators are faced with - said Nikolay Davidov, the Moskomprivatbank Chairman of the Board. - We are pleased to help our partners from Yandex in this issue."

Yandex.Money users can transfer their funds from their e-wallets to any Visa card of any bank that operates in these countries. The amount can be sent both to user’s own card or onto a card of another person and only a card’s number is required.

Depending on the beneficiary's bank the time of the transfer can vary from a few minutes to two business days. MasterCard cardholders will be able to make transfers to cards issued by banks in 25 countries in Europe and the CIS.
