OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2012. Estonian Air was recognized at the 2012 World Airline Awards as the only airline in the Baltic states among top five airlines in Northern Europe by Skytrax, world’s biggest customer survey organization, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

The awards were based on passenger satisfaction survey in which travellers from over 160 countries take part at. The survey investigates the overall customer satisfaction comprising of ground handling as well as onboard services – check-in to boarding, onboard seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food, beverages, in-flight entertainment and staff service.

“It is a great honor to be selected by the customers in to the elite group of well-known airlines such as Finnair and SAS. We see it as a testimony, that customers have received well our new network, product changes and excellent customer service,“ said Tero Taskila, CEO of Estonian Air.

The 2012 World Airline Awards were given out at this year’s Farnborough International Airshow.
