OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2012. Specially modified B-10M bulldozer will be assembled by ChTZ for ALROSA leading Russian diamond mining company. The machine is aimed to maintain on 36km- long underground roads, trail new technologic ways in drift mines of Mirninsk mining and processing Combine.

The bulldozer will be assembled inside the shaft on work field at a depth of 780 m. Instead of standard cabin it will be equipped with strong frame with a roofing and protective visor. The high of such modified aggregate will match 3 meters on the whole. Modified narrowed angle blade will provide operation in constrained conditions.

The most important of the new construction is the effective system of damping and neutralization of emissions. This novelty, designed by ChTZ Plant, ensures a secure work and decreases exhaust gases toxicity to zero level.

There is also installed a fire extinguisher system with one dry powder extinguisher, pointed at fuel tank, and 2 others, pointed at the engine. In case of fire all three extinguishers are automatically activated.

Described above bulldozer modification for diamond mining company is the third one, mounted on ChTZ plant. 2 aggregates of the same modification were shipped to Magnezit Combine in Satka previously. In the nearest future ALROSA plans to order several shaft bulldozers additionally. It is supposed to locate per 2 machines on each work field.
