In another such initiative, Tata Power organised an energy conservation awareness programme at Mahantesh Nagar Government Kannada Medium School in Belgaum.

Employees from Tata Power’s Belgaum plant made presentations at the school. Over 200 students from class VI to class X participated in the camp. The session was interactive and received a good response from the students who enthusiastically participated and interacted with the Tata Power team.

Commenting on this initiative, Balraja Bhatt, head, Belgaum station, said, “We are delighted by the positive response garnered by our initiative towards creating awareness about energy conservation. Such initiatives are very important to help students understand that small steps on their part can help make a difference to the environment.
