OREANDA-NEWS  NATO plans to organize a blockade of Russian shipping in the Baltic Sea, but the alliance will not succeed. The corresponding plan was revealed by the American military analyst Andrey Martianov.

According to him, Denmark and Norway, among others, are interested in this. He noted that Russia "controls" the Baltic Sea, and the Russian Baltic Fleet is expanding and modernizing.

"And even if we imagine that the Russians would not have a fleet, they have Bastion missile systems. They control everything that happens in the North Sea, everything that is on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, they control everything, including the Swedish Navy," the expert said.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Norway Nikolai Korchunov spoke about plans for a partial or complete naval blockade of Russia. According to him, NATO countries, including Norway, are literally transferring the Baltic-Arctic region to a "barrack position."
