OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2012. By signing an agreement with UAB Perlo paslaugos Ukio bankas has considerably expanded its client service network across Lithuania. From 9 October Ukio bankas clients can withdraw and deposit cash from/to their bank account using the bank’s payment card in nearly 700 points of service of Perlas terminals, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

During several weeks this service will be offered to Ukio bankas clients in all Perlas terminals numbering 1,800. Ukio bankas clients will enjoy a free-of-charge cash depositing service at Perlas terminals until the New Year.

‘Due to cooperation with UAB Perlo paslaugos we will provide our clients with the possibility of receiving convenient services even in the most remote corners of the country. Such solution will be particularly convenient to our clients and will also ensure the financially optimum development of the bank’s service network – it will grow to over 2,000 points of service,’ Justas Babarskas, head of Ukio bankas Commerce Division, said.

‘Perlas terminals offering users rapid and convenient payment for services are set up and operate in all regions of Lithuania and are accessible in all cities and small towns of the country. Partnership with Ukio bankas is mutually beneficial – the bank’s clients will be able to conveniently use a wide terminal network, meanwhile we will have the chance to utilise this network yet more effectively,’ said UAB Perlo paslaugos director Dainius Kalinauskas.

In the words of J. Babarskas, another equally important fact is that cooperation with other companies holding client service networks enables the bank to get closer to its clients not only in the regions of the country but also increases the accessibility to the bank’s services in major cities.

For the convenience of its clients Ukio bankas is purposefully expanding its service network across the country. Since the beginning of this year the bank has cooperated with the Lithuanian Post-office. Clients have been offered the possibility of withdrawing/depositing cash from/to Ukio bankas payment card account at 36 post offices of Lithuania.

Ukio bankas is Lithuania’s first commercial bank providing reliable services via its own wide client service network with 60 units across the country for the third decade already. Furthermore, Ukio bankas payment cards are accepted at 260 ATMs of the joint network.
