OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012. In January-September, 2012 it was registered 4634 new enterprises in Moldova, 9.1% down as compared with 2011.
According to the State registration Chamber of Moldova, it was registered 496 enterprises in January, 562 in February, 699 in March, 451 in April, 559 in May, 489 in June, 438 in July, 445 in August and 495 in September.

Most of them or 60% were registered in the municipality of Chisinau, with the rest being registered in territorial offices of the State Registration Chamber. As of October, 1, 2012 the state register of legal entities has contained information about 162.9 thou. companies of which 49% (80.06 thou.) are limited companies, 41% (66.02 thou.)are individual enterprises and 3% (4.8 thou.) are stock associations.

Close to 45 % of enterprises registered in Moldova are wholesalers and retailers, 17% are real estate agencies, 10% are processing companies, 65 are agricultural ones, 5% are carriers and 5% are running hotel business.
