OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2012. Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group, has closed contract with Tuapse refinery, which belongs to Rosneft.

This year Izhorskiye Zavody produced six vessels designed for deep processing of oil and production of high-quality Euro-5 fuel in frames of contract signed in 2010. Total weight of equipment constituted more than 5 thousand tons, two of the vessels had unique dimensions and weight, ever produced in Russia – height of 40 meters, diameter of 5 meters and weighing 1,400 tonnes.

Production of vessels is performed in accordance with the requirements of ASME Code and Russian regulatory documents for petrochemical production equipment. Licensor of the project is Chevron Lummus Global (USA) - one of the world's largest energy companies. Development of working and design documentation was carried out by Izhorskie Zavody.

The first reactors were delivered in August 2012. The delivery was unique as for the first time in its history Izhorskiye Zavody delivered three vessels simultaneously, one of them unique in dimensions and weights. The fourth, fifth and sixth reactors were shipped in September-October 2012. The vessels proceeded to Izhorskiye Zavody’s cargo pier in the village of Ust-Slavyanka, where they were loaded onto barges and shipped to the customer, which now has acquires all of them.

Tuapse refinery, located in Krasnodar region, enters Russia’s largest oil company Rosneft. Currently, the plant is under fundamental reconstruction,as a result of which the plant's capacity will increase from the current 5 million tons per year to 12 million tons per year, while the depth of processing will exceed 95%.
