OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2013. During a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held the Prime Minister of Ukraine gave an instruction to advance activity in Eurointegration direction with an aim to ready to conclusion of an Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

He also stressed on the need to complete preparation of legislative acts of the first stage which will afford to step to the second stage (implementation) of an Action Plan on liberalization by the EU of a visa regime for Ukraine.

“A significant event is ahead and it is the 16-th Ukraine-EU Summit which will take place on February 25 of 2013 in Brussels. So, we have to completely realize measures in preparation to it,” Mykola Azarov emphasized.

In February it is also planned to hold an enlarged sitting of the Government on an initiative of the Prime Minister of Ukraine to tackle urgent issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union and realization of the state policy in the area of European integration.
