OREANDA-NEWS. March 04, 2013. In January of 2013 almost 3 thousand foreigners were registered in Ukraine as physical persons – tax payers.

The Ministry of Incomes and Fees stresses that our country is gradually acquiring popularity as a place of receiving incomes among the citizens of other states. So, in 2011 with an aim to obtain incomes 48.7 thousand foreigners were registered as tax payers. In 2012 their number grew up to 50 thousand persons.

Besides, on the operative data the total amount of tax payers who officially received incomes increased by 10% last year.

Analysts of the Ministry are prone to join growth of number of foreigners who desire to pay taxes in Ukraine with earlier taken measures directed to creating favorable conditions for making business and development of tax service.

In particular, in the end of last year a procedure of registration of tax payers was simplified, an application can be submitted to any inspection irrespective of place of residence or temporary stay. Terms of registration, issuing registration cards and documents about change of registration number from 10 to 5 days were also changed etc.

In general, as of February 1, 2013 the State Register of physical persons – tax payers was filled with 44.55 million persons. 41.8 thousand out of the number was included the current year.
