OREANDA-NEWS. March 13, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against “Grosseri” Ltd. and a group of persons comprising “TDS” CJSC, “VELES Group” Ltd., “Sol Bryanska” Ltd. and “TDS Rostov” Ltd. upon signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

The companies concluded an agreement that resulted in dividing the market of wholesale supplies of edible salt according to the geographical principle, the range of goods and the categories of buyers. The case was initiated upon the findings of scheduled inspections carried out by FAS with regard to economic entities involved in sales of edible salt in the Russian Federation.

In 2011, FAS found that a group of persons comprising TDS” CJSC, “Mozyrsalt” OJSC, “BPK” Ltd. and “Evrotrust Expo” Ltd. committed a similar violation.
