CIS Economic Council Supports Creating of InterMedicalEcoCity
OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2013. In Kherson region (Ukraine), Arabat Spit there will be set up International rehabilitation center "InterMedicalEcoCity”. This issue was raised during the 57-th session of the CIS Economic Council held in Moscow. There was adopted a decision on support of initiative of the Ukrainian party concerning elaboration of a project of creation of the Center with the concerned CIS states-participants and bodies of branch cooperation of CIS.
A principally new system of intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation of patients recognized in many world countries and belonging to priority medical innovation technologies was elaborated by the International Clinics of Restorative Treatment (Truskavets, Lviv region). This technique has been applied successfully for over 20 years to cure patients with children’s cerebral paralysis and other chronic diseases of the nervous system. For this period the rehabilitation course with positive stable result was passed by more than 60 thousand patients from 59 world countries, including Germany, Denmark, Holland, Romania, the USA, Kuwait, the UAE and other states. Over the recent years 4822 patients with children’s cerebral paralysis from the CIS states have undergone treatment in the clinics.
The long-term experience of rendering services in medical rehabilitation on the basis of a system of intensive neurophysiologic rehabilitation for curing patients with children’s cerebral paralysis will be laid as a basis of activity of the International rehabilitation center "InterMedicalEcoCity".
The Arabat Spit region has a unique composition of natural therapeutic mud of the Sivash lake, deposits of thermal mineral waters, favourable natural climatic conditions, warm Azov Sea, steppe wind, the longest in Europe sandy beach.
The author of the project is Director General of the Clinics, the Hero of Ukraine, professor V.I.Kosyavkin. The total cost of the project is approximately USD 1.5 bln.
Realization of the project in creation of the International rehabilitation center "InterMedicalEcoCity” will be a real example of mutually beneficial integration processes directed to preserving health of the population of our countries. In the process of realization there are possible various forms of cooperation and integration with consolidating efforts of entrepreneurs, medical employees, scientists and state structures of the CIS states with an aim to ensure rendering qualitative medical assistance, testing of various cooperation models. Implementation of this project also means a serious flow of investments and creation of new workplaces for Ukraine.
