OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2013. MMC Norilsk Nickel (hereinafter, MMC Norilsk Nickel or the Company), the largest global nickel and palladium producer, announces the cancellation of 18,470,925 ordinary shares representing 9.69% of the Company’s share capital.

On January 29, 2013 the EGM of MMC Norilsk Nickel approved an amendment to the Company’s Charter to reduce its share capital by cancellation of 18,470,925 shares. This amendment was registered by the Federal Tax Service of Russia on March 28, 2012 and the cancellation of a respective amount of shares was reflected in the Company’s share register on April 2, 2013.

As of today the share capital of the Company consists of 172,156,822 ordinary shares with par value of RUR1.
