OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2013. The professionals of TATNEFT participated in the tenth International practical crude oil mechanized production conference on the subject "Technologies and efficient production - a way to achieve results."

The International Forum has become an effective platform for discussion of topical issues related to new technologies and equipment for crude oil production, energy saving engineering developments, dual completion and production (DCP) and dual injection equipment, intelligent control systems of crude oil production optimization as well as reservoir pressure maintenance systems (RPM), etc.

During the event, which included ten main sessions, the Expert Council meeting and poster presentations, the professionals of JSC TATNEFT presented the following reports:

- Main direction of developing and enhancing the efficiency of RPM systems in the development of crude oil fields;

- New approaches to the production from the highly watered oilfield areas with application of the gravity separation technology of products in the wellbore;

- Application of control and automation means for enhancing crude oil recovery at a late stage of fields development;

- Prospective development lines for improving the efficiency of inter-well pumping equipped with electric centrifugal pumps;

- Results of implementation and new installation designs for DCP;

- Experience of GIK (downhole measuring complex) operation in the dual production wells.

At the conference the participants familiarized themselves with the stands of the specialized exhibition "Artificial Lift - 2013". The exposition of JSC TATNEFT included balancer-free chain drives for sucker rod pumping installations, new installation designs for dual wells completion and production, development results of the reservoir pressure maintenance systems, as well as application results of intelligent systems in the crude oil production at the late stage of the oil fields development.

The Company's exhibits also presented innovative engineering developments applied in the large-scale effort to ensure environmental safety in the crude oil production: corrosion-resistant pipes and high integrity tubing strings.

The exhibition stands of TATNEFT also clearly demonstrated the latest technologies in the development of hard-to-recover reserves of hydrocarbons, and in particular, development results of Ashalchinskoye extra-viscous oil field.
