First Vice PM of Ukraine Instructs to Inspect Public Catering Networks
OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2013. First vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov instructed the Ministry of Health and the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection to inspect the products in the public catering networks. "Strict sanctions, up to deprivation of appropriate licenses, must be applied to unscrupulous manufacturers," he said during a meeting of the Government, which was held under his leadership.
According to Serhiy Arbuzov, traditional problem during summer vocational season is a seasonal increase of outbreaks of food poisoning causes and acute enteric infections. " According to the State Sanitary and Epidemic Services of Ukraine there were 10 episodes of acute enteric infection and two of them at pre-school institutions since the beginning of the summer. 186 people were injured, among them 55 children," he noted.
“We have such situation not least because of unregulated illegal street trading and non-certified product sales. With the hot weather we have dire state,” the First vice Prime Minister added.
Serhiy Arbuzov is convinced that the state must ensure safety and comfortable conditions for the rest of citizens.
