OREANDA-NEWS. Since starting its operations more than four decades ago, we are committed with sustainable development. And one of the ways to reach that has been producing nickel using ecological technologies, which includes the operation of three power plants: Larona, Balambano and Karebbe.

Our plants provide the needed electricity to the funding operations and to the nickel ore processing in Sorowakos' plant. The energy that feeds our three power plants on Indonesia come from three lakes: Matano, Mahalona and Towuti. With them, we manage to reduce the thermic energy consumption, that comes from non-renewable fuels.
