OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved a cooperation plan between the EEC and the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) designed to run in 2013-2015, reads the official website of the EEC.

According to EEC Trade Minister Andrei Slepnyov, the action plan is aimed at exploiting the potential and drawing upon the experience of the UNECE in the EEC activities.

Andrei Slepnyov noted that the plan stipulates the measures aimed at simplifying trade, using one-stop procedures, applying international standards to introduce the Integrated Information System for Foreign and Mutual Trade and interacting in the field of technical regulations, standardization and conformity assessment.
