OREANDA-NEWS. Expert RA, a Russian leading rating agency, reconfirms the quality of SB Bank's risk management at the level of A.rm as High Level of Risk Management. Back in the end of 2011, the Bank's risk management was assigned the highest rating based on the agency's assessment scale.

\Among most notable strengths outlined by the agency experts are independent functioning of the risk management division, a high level of development of methodical base on main types of bank risks management, an appropriate structure of the credit committee as well as a low level of overdue debts on the bank balance (its share in a cumulative loan portfolio made only 1,6% as at January 1, 2014). A positive evaluation was also given to a high level of insurance protection of pledges (the share of the insured pledges in a mortgage portfolio made 75% as at January 1, 2014) and practice of covenants fixing in credit agreements. The agency experts also positively assessed a wide range of instruments of market risk management and existence of the separate division providing information security.

It is to be recalled that in January 2014 Expert RA agency reconfirmed SB Bank's credit rating at the level of A+ (Very High Level of Creditworthiness), second sub-layer, the rating carrying a stable outlook.
