OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2014. The Air Moldova company will launch direct flights from Chisinau to Barcelona, Spain, starting from next June, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said at a today’s cabinet meeting.

“We may record another positive evolution, which deals with the fact that the creation of the Common Aviation Area with the EU has already resulted in multiplication of connections between Chisinau and European capitals, cuts in ticket prices and in improving the provided services,” Leanca said.

The official expressed confidence that, as soon as Moldova has visa free regime to the Schengen area, the launch of the flight would be another excellent opportunity to familiarise with the European civilization.

The tickets for Chisinau-Barcelona route are already on sale.
