OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2014. Memorandum was signed between the Kyzylorda Region and "Kazakhstan Housing Corporation" on the construction of rental housing in the region within the framework of the state program "Affordable Housing".

Akim of the region Krymbek Kusherbayev noted that 4907 houses were commissioned from 2012, and it had a significant impact on the provision of housing for young families.

This year we plan to begin construction of five domestic houses in "Arai" micro-district, in 2015 - 5 more houses on the Shukurova Street. Administration of the region together with the Ministry of Regional Development will provide for infrastructure.

As Chairman of the joint stock company Ruslan Khusainov reported, 230 apartments are planned to be commissioned under the "Affordable Housing" in the current year and 180 apartments - in the next. 2,9 billion tenge were allocated to implement the program. The program is designed for rental properties for 15 years with an option for early repurchase after 10 years. Fee is around 1000-1200 tenge per square meter, i.e. two-room flat will cost the family about 50 000 tenge per month and at the end of the rental period will become the property of tenants.
