OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2014. The Moldovan government has adopted a decision to start negotiations with the Polish side on signing of credit agreement and form the group of negotiators, headed by the Deputy Minister of agriculture and food industry Gheorghe Gaberi.

The exact amount of loan will be determined during negotiations between the representatives of the governments of both countries within the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk to Chisinau.

The deferment term will make 10 years. Assets of the Polish loan will be used for modernization of the sector in livestock production, as well as the sectors of production, processing, storing and sale of vegetables and livestock products. It is planned that Moldova will purchase machinery and equipment, build a modern warehouses for storage and post harvest handling of vegetables, a technological line for sorting, washing and packing of vegetables.

In addition, it is planned to construct a modern livestock farms to increase the production of milk and meat, etc.
