The Seminar was attended by representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, UNDP, WFP, ADB, MDS, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Association of Carriers, the National Confederation of Employers and others.

Within the frameworks of the seminar Isakova S., the head of the SME processing unit of KICB, presented services of KICB bank, including types of the loans for small and medium enterprise. Thus, there are such loans in KICB as: "Business Express", "Mortgage", "Agroloan", loans "Warm Home" and "Warm Home +".

The interesting results of researches on the following themes were presented: "Development of small and medium enterprise in Kyrgyzstan: informal communication and the role of women" and "Export-oriented SME development: garment manufacturing sector" by speakers Altyn Kapalova and Nurbek Zhenish - experts from the Institute of Public Administration and Policy, the University of Central Asia.

Altyn Kapalova noted that "The results of mapping showed significant predominance of women in small and medium enterprise (among owners and among hired employees). The role of women in business development is recognized by society, but a woman entrepreneur continues to experience difficulties. The studies of women's entrepreneurship omit today the study of starting conditions."
