June 10 lifting and assembly of the containment dome of the reactor building of unit No. 1 was carried out at the Leningrad NPP-2 construction site. Assembly of metal structures, sprinkler system, cable structures with ventilation systems and the polar crane servicing site were preliminary carried out at the ground level.

The dome was lifted by the Holding Company subsidiary OJSC UAT with the 1350 ton lifting capacity crane (Liebherr 11350). It took approximately two hours to lift the heavy weight structure.

The assembly of the main equipment will be the next work stage for the Holding Company: steam generators and main circulation lines.

Holding Company TITAN-2 is one of the main contractors in construction of units No. 1 and No. 2 of Leningrad NPP-2. The Holding Company's organizations carry out 30 % of civil works and 80 % of assembly works at the construction site. The specialists of the Holding Company are working at the first and the second unit facilities of the Leningrad LNPP-2. The works are currently carried out in the reactor building, turbine building, electric power supply building, water supply building, district heating buildings and other structures of the units.
