OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2014. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will officially open a second application site at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for TSA Pre Check™.

This expedited screening program allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and keep 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on bag.

The new application center is located in Terminal South, near the Delta Air Lines ticket counters, and is accessible to the general public. The existing site at Hartsfield-Jackson, located at Gate A19, requires a boarding pass for access; the A19 site officially opened in January 2014.

U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents will now be able to go through a pre-enrollment process online at www.tsa.gov , make an appointment and complete their enrollment at the application center to verify their identity and provide documentation to confirm their citizenship/immigration status as well as to provide fingerprints.
