OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2014. Since August 2014 customers of Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca can conclude insurance contracts at all subsidiaries and branches of the bank.

Thanks to the partnership between Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca and insurance company Grawe Carat Asigurari, clients of the bank can now insure risks at one and the same place and in a short period of time. At present, the following insurance services are available at all branches and subsidiaries of Eximbank: mandatory insurance against the damage caused by transport means; the property insurance, travel health insurance.

In future, the range of the insurance products will be broadened and adjusted to meet special needs of every client. The easier access to the bancassuarnce products has become possible thanks to the development of the IT systems of the bank and the enhancement of skills of the bank’s staff members.

According to Grawe Carat Asigurari Director General Veronica Malcoci, launching the bancassurance has become possible thanks to Moldova’s favourable legislation and this will spur the development of the domestic financial market. “Our company has drawn on GRAWE experience in bancassurance, gained during the years of work on European markets. The partnership between Grawe Carat Asigurari and Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca will be beneficial for clients of both companies. It will raise the confidence of people in banking and insurance services”, Veronica Malcoci said.
