OREANDA-NEWS. The volume of oil transportation and throughput separately for "KazTransOil" JSC comprised 37 million 310 thousand tons, or 2% lower than it was planned and 6% lower than for 9 months of 2013.

The oil turnover separately for "KazTransOil" JSC amounted to 26 billion 857 million ton.km, or 2% above the plan and 4% lower than for 9 months of 2013.

The consolidated transportation and throughput of oil and oil products stood at 46 million 032 thousand tons, or 3% lower than it was planned and 7% lower than for 9 months of 2013.

The consolidated oil turnover comprised 33 billion 081 million ton.km, or 2% below the plan and 3% lower than for 9 months of 2013.

The volume of the Volga water supply to the consumers in Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshlak waterline for the reporting period amounted to 19 million 123 thousand cubic meters, which is 22% above the plan and 7% more than for 9 months of 2013.

The decline in the volume of oil transportation in "KazTransOil" JSC as a whole is due to the decrease in the delivery of oil to the main pipeline system by oil companies (TCO, KPO, "Karakudukmunai" LLP, "CNPC-Aktobemunaigas" JSC, "Kazakhoil Aktobe" LLP, "Turgai Petroleum" JSC, "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources" JSC and others).

"KazTransOil" JSC is the national operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the main oil pipeline. The company manages a network of main oil pipelines stretching over 5000 km and water pipelines over 2000 km long, and provides jobs for more than 8000 people.
