OREANDA-NEWS. November 06, 2014. SME Bank (VEB Group) commences to implement the program of securitization of SME assets intending to become an anchor investor of the first transactions.

There is a pipeline of two transactions of up to RUB 5 billion each . By 2016 SME Bank targets RUB 20 billion in such investments.

“At the stage of development of this market segment we are ready to act as an anchor investor in order to create necessary comfort for market players and ultimately to increase SME lending”, pointed out  Kirill Semenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of SME Bank at the 12th International Banking Forum in Sochi.
