OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2014. The Bank of East Asia, Limited (“BEA”) and its wholly - owned subsidiary, Blue Cross (Asia - Pacific) Insurance Limited (“Blue Cross”) have received a total of six awards in the Benchmark Wealth Management Awards Programme 2014 organised by Benchmark magazine.

BEA was named Best – in - Class for Corporate Citizenship – Banking , Best – in - Class for Product & Service Innovation – Banking, and Out standing Achiever for Customer Commitment & Engagement – Banking, while Blue Cross was named Outstanding Achiever for Healthcare Insurance Product, Outstanding Achiever for Product & Service Innovation – Insurance, and Outstanding Achiever for Online Usability – Insurance.

BEA received the Corporate Citizenship award in recognition of its clear corporate sustainability strategy and its efforts to serve the community.

The Bank also received the Product & Service Innovation award for its bold application of new technologies to provide a greatly enhanced customer experience.
