OREANDA-NEWS. Trubodetal factory (Trubodetal Open Joint Stock Company, based in Chelyabinsk, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK Joint Stock Company, Moscow) took part in the "100 Years Around the Fir Tree" New Year's exhibition, which was organized by the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The project centered on an exhibition which showcased New Year's symbols before the Revolution, into Soviet times, and in modern-day Russia. Trubodetal, which is the library's partner and sponsor, took part in the event with a fir tree decorated in the corporate style.

"We are happy to take part in the library's project because we continuously support projects related to culture, education, and charity. This is not the first New Year's project that our staff has taken part in. The factory's workers have given a fir tree decorated with lights and balls to the patients of the regional children's clinical hospital, and its mini version is on display at this exhibition," said Nikolay Yakovlev, HR, PR and General Issues Director at Trubodetal.

The "100 Years around the Fir Tree" project includes a contribution of books to the patients of the oncology center of the Chelyabinsk Regional Clinical Hospital, and several exhibitions of books on New Year's and Christmas celebrations chosen by the library's workers. It also includes a New Year's gifts fair, master classes on arts and crafts, and other events scheduled through up to January 20th.
