OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2015. According to the National Bureau of statistics, at the same time, Moldovan exports to the EU countries in the first 11 months of 2014 amounted to USD1 billion 145,5 million, increasing by 10.6% in comparison with the same period of 2013.

At the same time, the imports of goods to Moldova from the EU countries increased by 5.6%-up to USD 2 billion 359,7 million.

The EU Share in the total Moldovan exports increased from 46.6%-up to 53.1%, while imports from 45.2% to 49%. Thus, in January-November 2014, the largest volume of Moldovan exports to the EU accounts for Romania - USD 400,2 million, which is 4.9% more than at the same period of 2013, followed by Italy - USD 228 million (+37,2%); Germany - USD 127.7 million (+26.2%); the United Kingdom- USD 98.9 million (+1.3%); Poland - USD 58,4 million (-27,1%); Bulgaria - \\$34.9 million (+18.7%); France - USD 31.1 million (+12,5%); Czech Republic - USD 27.2 million (+15%); Greece - USD 25,2 million (+7,5%); Austria (USD 21.3 million (+18.1%) and the Netherlands - USD 17.8 million (+26,5%).

The largest volumes of imports in Moldova and EU in the relevant period also accounts for Romania - USD 751 million (+15.6%), followed by Germany- USD 386,9 million (+8.3%); Italy - USD 321,5 million (+2.6%); Poland - USD 143,4 million (+11,1%); Austria - USD 104,5 million (12.2%); France- USD 83.4 million (-9%); Hungary - USD 79,4 million (12,7%); Bulgaria - USD 75,8 million (0.3%); the United Kingdom - USD 63,8 million (+12.3%) and the Czech Republic - USD 59,7 million (-4,8%).
