OREANDA-NEWS. Donavia Airline within the Aeroflot Group of Companies, yet again, gets the highest rating for flight safety, according to AirlineRatings.com, the international rating agency. The experts issued 7 out of the 7 possible points to Donavia based on its operation results for the year 2014.

AirlineRatings.com researches are considered to be of high significance. The agency team consists of experts and professionals, including some in the aviation industry. For safety rating, AirlineRatings uses a universal evaluation scale which mostly considers the official international and domestic aviation authorities' criteria. In particular, IOSA certification (IATA Operational Safety Audit) which is issued by the International Air Transport Association - IATA is mandatory, in accordance with results of operational safety audit.

Donavia Airline has already confirmed its accordance to the IOSA International Safety Standards four times. The company is due to undergo its next audit in 2015.

JSC Donavia (Rostov-on-Don) is an Airline within the Aeroflot Group of Companies. It is the largest airline in the Southern part of Russia and operates scheduled and charter flights for passengers, cargo and mail.
